To my surprise I was also able to install it on my MacBook Pro (i5, 8 GB, 2014). I installed it on the Dell as a stand alone version, nothing to do with Adobe's Cloud. In Nov 2015 I bought a new Dell computer (W10, i7 Skylake, 16 GB RAM) and I purchased the disk version of Elements 2014 from Amazon. I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements for about 15 years. I'll offer some comments for whatever they are worth, maybe not much. Michel, as you mentioned in your post, best is very subjective. IOS is not as fully featured and robust as regular computer operating systems. It can take more steps or apps to do some of the same things that were easier or more direct on a regular computer.
